COLD WEATHER
With the onset of colder weather, it is important that our students are appropriately dressed for the weather. This means that students are coming to school in full length clothing and wearing jackets or coats, gloves, hats, mitts, scarves, etc. Students are expected to be outside during recess as the fresh air and exercise does them good. INDIGENOUS VETERAN’S DAY
November 8 is Indigenous Veterans Day, a day to honour and recognize the long and proud tradition of military service of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada. In Ontario classrooms, this day provides an important opportunity to deepen learning about the bravery, leadership, and contributions of Indigenous veterans whose service has shaped our shared history.
