Ours school song incorporates our philosophy and mission statement. The song was created by former St. Elizabeth Seton teacher, Larry Flynn.
We are the People of St. Elizabeth Seton
We are the people of St. Elizabeth Seton
Who seek out the truths of life;
We are the people, the children of God,
And God calls us always to be:
To be gentle with ourselves and with one another
To see beauty in His family.
Through life, we learn right from wrong;
There are so many things we must know,
Were so often at that fork in the road
Choosing the right way to go.
Our work here at school seems unending
They say its a privilege you know,
But reading and writing and knowing this country
Are lessons we cannot forgo.
We look to Jesus as Teacher,
Showing compassion and care
As He said, When you care for the least of my people,
You show you care also for me.
We are the people of St. Elizabeth Seton
Who seek out the truths of life;
We are the people, the children of God,
And God calls us always to be:
To be gentle with ourselves and with one another
To see beauty in His family.
To be gentle with ourselves and with one another
To see beauty in His family.
