SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM (Grade 7)

York Region Public Health in-school immunization clinics are offered throughout the school year, from fall to spring each year. Eligible students in grade 7 can be immunized at no cost against Hepatitis B, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and Meningococcal ACYW-135. School-based clinics are offered during school hours to students who attend the school. These clinics are not open to the public. This year, our Grade 7 student immunization clinic for Meningococcal, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and Hepatitis B will be on Monday, November 3rd.

On this day, our Intermediate boys volleyball team will be participating in their local area tournament. We were unable to change the immunization date. However, YRPH will be at our school at 8:00 am for students whose child requires immunization. If this date does not work, YRPH will host clinics on other dates. Parents are encouraged to reach out to them for dates and time of the clinics. Visit york.ca/immunization for more information or call York Region Public Health at 1-877-464-9675. Please see the email sent on September 20th for the Grade 7 vaccine parent package.
