Tales from the Heart – collaboration with Sacred Heart CHS

Next week, we welcome staff and students from Sacred Heart into some of our Primary and Junior classes.  The Tales from the Heart initiative has provided our students with an opportunity to explore new and meaningful books, a platform to share their unique voice, and feel empowered to express who they are. The books chosen for these sessions are a part of the Forest of Reading Program. The sessions are run by high school leaders who are excited to share their love of reading with our students.This is a great opportunity to end our own Read a Thon session that students have been involved in since January.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and students of Sacred Heart CHS for sharing their love of reading with us and for inspiring the next generation of readers.
