Absence/late letters were sent home to some of our SES families last week. This is an opportunity, should it be needed, for the school and home to work together to support attendance and families who may be in need to access some of the YCDSB services. Continued absences have a negative effect on a child’s academic progress. The more a student is away, the further they fall behind. The value of being punctual is a very important life skill. Lateness interrupts the learning pattern of the individual student. We thank you for working with us to ensure regular attendance to school as well as the minimization of lates as it is disruptive to all students and classes.
