Pink Shirt Day – Wednesday, February 27th

Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against bullying after a grade 10 student was threatened for wearing pink. Peers then bought dozens of pink shirts and distributed them to their classmates to wear the next day.

On this day, and every day, we continue to stand up to bullying and send a message to all who enter our building that kindness, compassion and words matter.  As children of God, we are reminded that each and everyone one of us is WONDERFULLY MADE.  On this day, students and staff are invited to wear pink as a symbol that we will stand up to bullying, spread joy and kindness everywhere and work to lift eachother up!
