SES Welcomes Rocks and Rings

From February 4 to 6th, St Elizabeth Seton CES welcomes Rocks and Rings to our school where students from K – 8 will learn about and explore curling in our school gymnasium. Our parent evening will be on February 6th for those families who have registered.  We are looking forward to sweeping, super time!

Carnival at Seton

This year Seton celebrates Carnival from February 3rd – 7th.  This year, we will run a week’s worth of fun theme days for our students as well as classroom competitions to celebrate this wonderful week. We couldn’t celebrate Carnaval without a special visit from Bonhomme. A list of winners will be shared with our parent community once finalized.

This year, in part, we would like to honour and celebrate the many contributions and beautiful cultures by displaying artifacts in our display case located in the front foyer of our school. February is Black Heritage Month. Black Heritage  Month is a time to celebrate the many achievements and contributions of people of African Ancestry to the development and culture of the Church and of Canada. Black Heritage Month is about celebrating Black Excellence.  It is about celebrating resilience, innovation, and determination to work towards a more inclusive and diverse Canada.
