Inclement Weather Procedures

With the winter weather on its way there may be times where an Inclement Weather Day is called. Below is an update regarding our Inclement Weather Procedure for the 2024/2025 school year. Unless notified otherwise, all schools will remain open. We ask that parents/guardians exercise discretion when deciding to send your child(ren) to school on inclement weather days.

Appropriate Dress for cold weather and inclement weather

With the onset of colder weather, it is important that our students are appropriately dressed for the weather. This means that students are coming to school in full-length clothing and wearing jackets or coats, gloves, hats, mitts, scarves, etc. Students are expected to be outside during recess. Fresh air and exercise support a positive learning environment and good health.

Ornament Raffle

In support of the St. Vincent de Paul Christmas initiative, St. Elizabeth Seton’s Luke 4:18 Club will be having its second annual ornament raffle from December 2 through to December 6.  During this period, students will have an opportunity to purchase tickets each day.  These tickets will be placed in a draw, and on December 9th winners will be called down to the office to ...
